So I believe I can finally resolve this. I had to replace the wire from the EGR. Got it off eBay new from a TPI vet. It is shorter but works fine. I had to adjust the TPS and IAC too. Was not aware of it. so now I finally have a new starter working properly. car runs great, so far, and NO CODES yet. Thanks for all the help.
