are these Readings normal for my car? Help
are these Readings normal for my car? Help
I have a drivability issue here. MY 86 irocz will idle arou nd 1500 rpm and when I try to open the throttle the car will sputter and big as if it is in limp home mode. I have an aldl cable and have taken a picture of the data in winaldl.
previous owner swapped a 350 roller into the car amd so I had to install the correct memcal and injectors. The fuel sender and pump are new. The fuel filter is new and I installed a new icm coil plugs and wires, also a new spark control module.
I feel like I have tried everything. New Maf and checked all vaccum hoses, new relays. Good fuel pressure and have rebuilt the intake manifold. I'm so lost.
there are 2 codes
36 and 33

Re: are these Readings normal for my car? Help
33 & 36 are both MAF codes, so something is not right in that area.
In the sensor data both the INT & BLM are high, which is adding a lot of fuel. At that snapshot in time the O2 sensor is also reporting rich. But that doesn't mean a lot as it should be oscillating rich/lean.
RBob.

Thank you for replying man. A retired mechanic looked at the same snapshot and told me he thought it was the MAF. I am hesitant to just buy another May because this would be the third one I tried. The old bosh caused the fuel fuse to blow, then another bosh caused the same thing. The Maf that is on it now is a1 caredone or something that I got from rock auto. Do you have a pointer for a bulletproof maf?
