'88 IROC-Z ECM

I've tried to do a little research as far as the ECM location for my '88 IROC-Z. So far from what i've read, it's under the passenger side dash next to the heater box. I just wanted to see if this was correct? For whatever reason my auto shop couldn't find it anywhere. Thanks for any help.

Your correct on its location. The ecm and it’s bracket drop down from under the dash. It’s basically under the dash speaker.

Yes, up under the dash on the passenger side. Should be a decent size aluminum box. But could also be a black painted box if a re-man.

Has two harness connectors. One is 12 x 2 rows, the other 16 x 2 rows.

RBob.
