Tuning a 454tbi with ebl flash
Hi. I hope I can get som help here even if I don't have a car that normally would be seen on this site. So... I have a 1975 Chevy k5 blazer with a stock 1987 454 tbi engine and th700 trans. I got my hands on a ebl flash ecm for it mainly to be able to adjust idle, TCC and such simple stuff. Now I found out that the later 454ss trucks has more power (255hp) than the regular truck engines (230hp) and the only differences seem to be dual exhaust and different tune. So that makes me want to wake up those last ponies. I only have the 454 tune I got with the ebl flash (which I understand is the lower power truck setup?) so I dont have anything to compare to and since I never modified anything for performance it would be great with some tips on what I should change and why.
I don't expect to get a huge amount of power but there must be some tweaking I can do. As said the engine is completly stock other than dual 2.5" exhaust and soon a set of shorty headers. It runs fine now with the stock 454 setup with the only issue that it almost dies before saving itself if I throttle hard from complete idle.I guess there is some setting i need to adjust since it became worse when I lowered the idle speed.

For a starting BIN, use the 2012 stick version. Then set the TCC flag:
Option Word 2 - Bit 7 - TCC
As for more power, work with the SA table. Be sure to get the fueling in line first.
