There are still some bugs to work out (most importantly the Wideband 02 is on but the ECU for some reason isnt reading it, i'll have to go back through the wiring) the base maps are good enough to get it running but I'll still have some tuning to do. EFIGUY has been helping with the maps portion of things since I really dont know much about it at this point.
So, The car runs, (Sounds Mean with DynoDon's headers and y-pipe) but it isnt actually on the road yet to do more testing. I live in Northeast Ohio and we have just went into the coldest days we have had this winter. So i'm not going to plate it or insure it until the weather breaks. I'm hoping this spring to have it on the street though and right now I dont see any setbacks to prevent that.

Good to hear. What was the issue ? The battery? The dual sync depending on ecu can take long cranks to get engine to fire, esp new tune. Idk the ecu parameters but you can play with them to get the engine to fire faster. Yours seems to be cranking excessively longer than it should. I'm glad you finally get to hear it.

The Battery was not an issue. I had a timing issue that I had to work out. I was missing an important step in installing a dual sync. The rotor has to be lined up with a sensor on the distributor NOT lined up with the no.1 plug line in old school engines. I must have read that a dozen times but everytime I pulled the distributor and reinstalled it I would do it the way I was use to doing. I got my dad to come over and just go over everything with me and he caught the issue.
Once I did that and could get a accurate reading the car fired up.
I am still having some issues that Efiguy is working with me. The car is still not on the road but VERY close.
My latest setback was my dual electric fans. I bought a new set off someone who decided to go another route and he had them all wired up and ready to install. So when I fired up the car and EFIGUY was on the phone with me going over some fine points in the tune the car began to over heat. I had to shut it off and plan another day to work with EFIGUY while i figure out what was wrong. Long story short, the wiring was all wrong. After re-wiring the fans and relay it still didnt work.... Come to find out he had a 20amp fuse in the inline and a 40 amp relay so guess what? It blew once I wired it up correctly. After tracing wires and getting no where I finally thought to check the inline fuse and found the problem.
Its always the little things that hold you back and prevent you from moving forward on the big picture.
Tomorrow (Tues), EFIGUY and I will get abck on the phone and hopefully button up the tune to where I can get the car off jack stands and take it around the block and get some good datalogs to send to him and he and I go over them.
I appreciate the interest you shown over this whole thing and I'm so ready to get this car on the road.
P.S. Its just my luck that after a few years of work on this car i'm about to be at the point I can take it out and drive it this summer...only to have everything shut down and closed up due to the covid19 scare. I hope we get past this health scare and back to normality in time for some good summer cruising!

I run my duel fans in series. TEC connectivity makes multiple high amp relays. One 75 and one 150 amp that I would recommend putting both fans on one relay. Overkill is ok. The fans in series require a min 40 amp fuse. I had same issue trying a 30 amp fuse. Sometimes it would blow other times ot would not, 40 amp solved it. If you are making your own fuse holder get one preferable with 10 g wiring for relay feed as well. These connections can be found to accommodate a 10 g wire. Have various sources and can direct you in that direction of needed. 10g min for all power feed to the fans recommended. Preferable gxl type wiring.Originally Posted by StonersTA

Also curious, i think i missed it, how are you firing the coil? AEM told me i'd need a coil driver to trigger the MSD 6A box to perform the rising/falling edge conversion.
