OBD1 Data Acquisition/Logger

I have been researching OBD1 Data Acquisition/Loggers in order to see engine info and performance data for track days and autocross. I own a 1985 IROC TPI car which is OBD1 and has the ECM 1226870, 1985 only (All F Body cars, Corvette, a few other GM vehicles). Data rates were only 160 Baud for this one off year ECM.

I am in search of a program/logger that integrates with ECM 1226870 and the OBD1 port for Data Acquisition/Logging on these track days and for autocross. I am not looking to use the program/logger for tuning, but to learn how the car is running through the competitions. Also, I would like to integrate, or lay the information over video similar to a Harry's Lap timer, RaceChrono, Track Attack, etc.

If anyone out there in thirdgen.org has any information regarding data acquisition for the 1985 IROC I would appreciate be pointed in the right direction. Thanks.

Re: OBD1 Data Acquisition/Logger

You can use WinALDL or TunerPro RT to data log the '6870 ECM. It will also require an ALDL cable of some nature (either serial or USB).

Will need to post process it to create video with overlays.
