OK, just went through a ton of documents looking for the correct inj flow rate. All my documentation shows 67# and 68#, 82/84 corvette. I would use 67#. I have no idea why it is at 61# right now, but maybe Ray changed it out in NJ for some reason. I do remember a long time ago when he was starting this tune asking me about the injector size and I'm pretty sure I told him 67#, but I've slept since then. So it would be on the lean side right now. Funny, other 82s are running this same tune and no issues. Wonder if their FP is higher maybe?

Hello-all re-pinned and cannot communicate to the EBL ecm. Rechecked my re-pin job twice. Tried 2 different laptops and com port 1 thru 6. I have 5 volt reference at tps and the new map. still no comm. laptop knows it is hooked because it gives a noise like it knows its hooked up. Any hints?
Hey Tom & Rob,
As I was checking the Injector sizes, I realized I had replaced them both (about 1 year ago ) with (can't remember the brand)
But, still had the old ones and confirmed their numbers
Rear GM 5233770*RPD which an investigated showed :114 ml/cycle which should be 68 lb/hr
Front GM 5233775*RPD which an investigation showed :111 ml/cyccle which should be 67lb/hr
The letters on the "after market" injectors are
REAR RI- 548
FRT RI-549
Am searching to confirm these guys are 68 and 67 lb/hrs
Still have not tested the New BIN.... working on it....

Yep, that is correct. I talked with Ray in NJ about the tune and the BPC vs VAC setting for a 61# inj. He is going to look at his other previous files to see what happened. He is going to call me Monday. So, if your injectors are stock, 67# should work and the setting would be 124 in the table. Since Rob is working on this which is awesome of him, I will let him decide which number to use. It IS a good catch though, thanks Rob. Oh, and I looked at the tune he posted and a fair amount of things where changed all good IMO, liked the VE tables. Question Rob...Did you set the temp for the TCC at 151* (maxed out) so that it won't lock up?
Sorry for the late response, it's been a very busy weekend, and tomorrow will be just as rough. But anyways, no, I did not touch the TCC at all. The only areas touched from what he originally uploaded is the LO5 VE table(s) and very slight smoothing of it. The AE & PE TPS trigger points were lowered about one half of a percentage, nothing too crazy, just for a better feel off idle,. The PE voltage in relation with RPM was also lowered, as he'll want that when cruising at low RPM when suddenly getting on the throttle, reduces hesitation. Launch Mode spark advance was lowered a tad, but at the same time inverted to make up for it. Launch Mode MAP threshold trigger was raised to over his idle kPa to keep the light from triggering on and off on the WUD screen, it's controlled by the TPS either way so that was mainly done for the light itself. That's about all that was done, very basic stuff..
OK, thanks Rob. Rodeny is not using the updated BIN I sent him. The TCC enable is still set at 151*. I was confused when I saw that. That part of the tune (TCC change file name) should be ver2. I sent you a PM Rob, when you get the chance. Thanks.
I was able to change the BCP to 123 and did a test drive... Idle is still rough .....(latest BIN attached)
Will try VE learn update later this week.... (Am travelling on business till Thursday)
I have a data log file of the idle, but the file would not upload .
Rodney, just received your email, you're pegged rich. Just have to pull fuel down in the idle area to get the fuel trims closer to 128. If you'd like i can make a few more changes then email you the bin.

It's not a problem at all, it only takes a few minutes. Just going to mow the lawn while I have the time first. Going to change a few things, actually gonna toss that LO5 VE table because it is too excessive in the idle area compared to the LO3. Would rather toss both bins out and just give you a custom, but you want close to stock, so I'll just narrow down the stock bin stuff until you're where you need to be then fine tune from there...
Rodney, let me show you, as well as the others who are watching so you'll digest what was done. The very first Crossfire Bin you uploaded into this thread before we even got started looked like this, see below;
Next, gave you the LO5 bin, see below, which was smoothed just a tad, so we can see where the fuel trims would be at idle.
... I mentioned earlier that the datalog will have the final say, and it did. Your BLM's were reporting 108 at idle, which were pegged rich. So now we'll start trimming the fuel down to where it needs to be. I only pulled about 4% of fuel from the VE Table, then smoothed it out, but you will see the difference in the values on the chart being used, see below;
Once the rest of the Bin has been looked over, I'll send you the next one to be Flashed in. Then wash, rinse and repeat in terms of data-logging. Just send over another one, or if you digested what is being done, it's just the matter of pulling fuel to accommodate your fuel trims, just don't pull too much in the lower areas. However I do have a question though, how do you have your IAC hooked up because I am not seeing any feedback in the diagnostic screen?
Sorry to interject, but IAT and IAC are easily confused. The CrossFire cars don't have an IAT (intake air temperature sensor). So it will default to the (stock) 40°C/104°F value. Can get rid of the SES/CEL by clearing this flag:
Haha, that was a typo on my part, as I am so used to writing IAC. But yes, that should read IAT not IAC, see image below. Bob, thanks for clarifying the IAT issue, was honestly unaware that the Crossfire's were not running any...
Hello Rob I have been trying to msg you for about a month in regard to our conversation with the EBL Flash. Please let me know if you are getting my messages.
Hey Brian, how are ya buddy! I just checked messages, last one received was in March when it was still snowing. Send me an update whenever you get the chance, we’ll continue on where we left off...
Should be wrapped up tomorrow, pending a final datalog...
Glad I could help out the Crossfire EBL guys....
- Rob
Are you serious? Completely done already? Holy Smokes! If that is true, you ROCK Rob! Rodney, let me know how it goes with the final datalog. Thank you.
Hey Guys hope all is well..Got a question, cars doing great Ive been doing all my tuning with wb 02 I decided to add back in my nb 02 so i added a separate bung and plugged it in, when i started the car I noticed on the wud home screen that the wb is still showing my afr numerically but the MV scale is showing the nb.. keep in mind i changed no settings.. is this normal? I thought I remember reading once the car is tuned it is a good idea to completely switch back to the nb so in case wb goes bad not to burn up engine... and if I do do run strictly nb will it hurt or help performance? is my memory correct? thx
any one know a speed shop who can tune with ebl flash and tunepro

It's pretty easy if you read the tutorials on Dynamics site. Unless you have some wild combo. I am supercharged on factory heads/cam for now.
Otherwise TPI is so old it may be hard to find a speed shop with someone who still works there that would say they know how to use it. However, if they are capable of tuning on newer systems, I can't image why they wouldn't be able to pickup tunerpro pretty quickly.
