Newbie Jeep guy, chip in ECM? burn for me?

Ok guys, simple question, I have a stock 5.7 TPI from 90-92 Camaro, 700R4. PO put motor in, so I don't have extensive history, I just know the drive train came from same car. The motor is all stock, less emissions tubes and pumps and Cat( I did not remove). it does have an EGR valve. My question is is there a company that with burn chips or someone on this forum that will do it for a price? What I'm after is a a good basic tune, EGR delete, VSS delete(as the Jeep has on, it got smashed on some rocks by PO is just hanging there by transfer case. the Jeep shifts like it should, but does idle way down sometimes after I have been in the gas, some times, but rare dies at a stop. This jeep is a rock crawler and does see the street, but it is simple in nature, I only run injectors from South bay, I believe they are the bosch 4 hole replacement, not sure what poundage. I am getting a moates data cable, so I can diagnose some issues I'm chasing, can I change the stock settings with the software and a cable, or is that not possible?

Thanks

Just curious does the engine die on deceleration or while coming to a stop ?

The Vss will help with iac control when stopping. If mg t case tpiparts.net has a 4K ppm Retro-Fit Vss.

It sounds like it could be your fuel pressure regulator. Mine did this after it got warm and got so bad that It would not stay on after it was warmed up. Could not be shure on this it is still in a million pieces after this issue. This issue led me to removing the engine and transmission and performing a complete overhaul on her.
