Dynamic EBL guidance
Dynamic EBL guidance
Hi Guys,
Jumping ship from Corvette Forum looking for some guidance.
Going to convert my 89 Corvette to the Dynamic Flash ECM.
Was wondering is there is a thread to help me along in regards to what WB, MAP sensor, pig tail for the mass air to map etc?
Will also be looking for a close tune if possible, 383, AFR heads, Mini Ram, Hooker Comp.
Always enjoy lining up next to you guys at the track

Boosted or n/a ? There’s a lot of information on there site. . The install cd has starter tunes but will need to account for displacement and injector flow and offsets.

You can get a 1 bar map and pigtail on Amazon, RockAuto,,eBay
for 90-92 tpi sd . I believe the bins are in the download section if you didn’t get a cd.

It's an essentially painless process. I always recommend that members get a 2 or 3 Bar MAP sensor ahead of time, as once you see the ease of tuning with the system, you may want to venture into boost, so you'll be ahead of the game. But yeah, the Bins are already there for you to choose from, as is the Utility. Select a Bin for the L98, use the provided Utility to calculate any differences in engine and injector size, update those values, set and/or confirm that your Base Timing is where it needs be, and you're done. As mentioned, pigtails and MAP sensors are available online....

Notifications aren't coming through for some reason. James sure, if I can help with the tuning let me know. Joe, I see you're taking the plunge into LS land, that's awesome. Might have to fabricate your own turbo headers though, and not work around what's out there. Was forced to buy and alter the ebay turbo headers rather than start from scratch, gotta say though they are definitely stronger and thicker than yesteryear's version that's for sure...

Modern engine management systems employ multiple fueling strategies, such as a 1 bar MAP and a second 2/3 bar MAP with table switching. Even OEM applications switch between MAP and MAF for drivability. $EE (94-95 LT1) for example has some of the best drivability, and of course all the LSx stuff.

Not at all, you won't miss anything. The averages you're setting in the Bin don't change in the tables, you just need to tighten them up a tad to keep the averages at your intended targets. I'm running a 3 Bar MAP with a naturally aspirated engine, no problem whatsoever...

thanks.. I think I might just do that. there's a 90% chance I won't boost it, but you know, I have been looking at that Volvo electric powersteering pump, and if so.. low mound alt and move sanden compressor to the drivers side.. leaves lot of open space on the passenger side.
