I have a 1987 Fire bird SE 2.8 MPI that I am swapping in a 5.3. My gauges are all dummy lights except for the speedo & gas gauge. My question is can I swap in a different gauge fire bird cluster with a tach, oil pressure, & temperature or do i have to get aftermarket gauges? Can I depinn my body harness from the cluster and extend wires to aftermarket gauges? I have the body harness all cleaned up and I know that I will have to buy gauge sender sensors (not use the dummy light sensors)
