You should be able to get some part numbers for your car off of the ACDelco website. Just put your car info in and pick a part.

I have a 91 Firebird with a 305 TBI engine and I believe that the ECM is 1228746. I was able to follow the instructions and use the free program on the following web page and receive the from the ECM.

Other useful information such as schmatics, etc. for various ECMs can be found at

One thing I forgot to mention is that I have a 5 Speed Manual transmission, but I believe it is the same ECM for the automatic transmission.

Chilton's does have a wiring diagram for the ECM inputs and outputs for a "1985 5.0L carbureted engine" (I have an '85 Sport Coupe LG4), but I don't trust it because I couldnt find the electronic spark control module in the schematic, and my car definitely has one.

I like the way the diagrams in the Haynes manual are laid out, but they only have one for '84 L69's and one for '84 LG4's, and those are different computers. I don't really need the schematic, but I'm just curious to know where I can find one.
