Whats the most complete "kit" to buy for burning my own chips?
I have a 86 TA with the stock chip for a 305. I need all of the part # for a very easy to learn prom burning system. My mods are in my sig. Ive never programed any computer so please have mercy.:hail: For the complete system (I have a laptop allready) How much is it going to cost?

Start by reading the intro PROM burning article. Part Numbers are listed in there. Look at the top post on this forum.

Dont worry about it...I know how you feel, I felt the same way when I first started. when you get into it you will be surprised how easy the chip burning part is, and wonder why you didnt do it sooner. The more toys you have(Scan tool,diacom,WB02)the easyer the fine tuning will be. But the process of burning the chip and changing things in the chip is the easy part.
Like Tim said search thru this and other boards. There is alot of info on the net you just have to did form it.
