Craig, how are you displaying this in your software? Is there a version available for download that shows the AFR of the WB? I am buying a sensor today, and plan on attempting to build the board next week and would love to be able to datalog the WB AFR through the MAP2 sensor with your software along with everything else into a .csv file...would make tuning WOT much easier...I am running '89 MAF with 165 ECM.

Well,

I've used the 'linearized' output of the OZ DIY (OK punch me, I have 2-3 DIY-WB kits under assembly as well) going to MAP2 on the 165. I have two things that could be useful:

1) A modified version of the 6E code (or patch info if you want to DIY).

2) A 'beta' version of the ECM logging program (ECM853 I think it is now).

With this, you can display AFR in lieu of the MAT secondary reading (which I never understood why it was there anyways).

There's 100 ways to skin a cat, but be sure, the cat isn't going to be happy.

Back from the dead!

I've downloaded the arap w/wb02 bin and transferred all my custom stuff over.

I'm using using Moates' ECM853 scanning s/w.
It works pretty well, but reads a little lean compared to my voltmeter reading the Vout.
Vout reads 2.45v (which converts to 14.4-1 AFR) while the laptop is showing 15.3-1 AFR (at idle).

At WOT, the voltmeter shows 2.00v (which converts to 12.17-1 AFR) while the laptop shows 12.5-1 AFR.

Craigs reference to an offset sounds like it might be what I'm looking for but not sure:

I put together a patch that brings the WB voltage in to MAP2 of a 165 under 6E code, and am using a display simultaneously. Seems to work fine. There's a very minor offset (ca. 14.9 vs 14.7 or something like that), but I have no issues.

Where did you get the ECM853 program from Moates?

Is there a BIN/hack out there for the P730 ECM?

"Where did you get the ECM853 program from Moates?"

Found this after a quick search.

You will probably want a high speed serial link adapter to go with it.
I'm using a max 232 based adapter made from plans found on the net.

Look in the tuning guide for the link to ANHT.
There is one that I did for AUJP on moates site under hacks that was generated using the ANHT as a guide. Still not perfect but has some up info added.

The link there is to ECM852.

I have a hacked bin, i'm just looking for the scanner to read it at Line 37.

If anyone has any advice for applying code changes to an ABTB $32B BIN, my ears are open.
