I'm sorry if this type of stuff is posted here often, but I have to share my joy! I built the cable and installed the software from http://w1.601.telia.com/~u60113744/s...dl/winaldl.htm, and it works GREAT!! the whole thing cost me about $3 too! I was able to use about 70 ft of phone wire to go outside to my car, and then back into my home computer, where it worked flawlessly! All I need now is the rest of the stuff to burn my own chips. maybe this summer...

You'll need a longer cord than that to do some good data loging when you start to burn chips.

Just get an elastic spiral type phone line. You should be good for a block or two.
