help % change F/A VS. RPM. 730

I dont quite understand that table in 8D,
Im guessing that a negative number is taking % of fuel away.
Is that right?
And if thats true then it explains the negative numbers in the
AUJP BIN due to lack of effiency of a tuned port after 4200 rpm.

Another question about main spark rpm vs. load.
Your 6 degrees initial is not factored in correct?
So if under full load at a specific RPM i have 26 degrees
advance in my table then actual would be 32 degrees.
Is that also right.

Thank for all/any help .

Yep, thats the way they work...I wondered about the timing also before I started burning proms. After I could see the 6* being added back in on my scan tool. So yes you would have 32* total.

It has more to do with the fact that the VE tables are not correct straight from the factory. The stock AUJP is "pig rich" in stock form. GM would rather you burn too much fuel than have a warranty claim.

Once you get the VE Tables were 128/128 perfect, then you would be needing to add fuel to attain 12.6-13.0:1 (rougly 10-15%). YMMV.

Read Traxion's post on "P730: Part throttle Tuning". Lots of great info there. Tim starts with a great way to get it farily close. And if you are a "fanatic", I mention a way to "fine tune it".
