Can you buy new Memcals?

I was just trying to decide what way I should access my EPROMS. and was thinking about the low profile ziff. but what if I break my memcal removing the chip? will I be able to buy a new one? i have been looking around but haven't found one anywhere. thanks

Dealer only item AFAIK. They can be had for about 40 bucks.

Yes, just go to your local GM Dealer and he will get you one. Lately, it seems some of these dealers can't/won't get it UNLESS you give them the actual Part No. But if you have the BCC, we can get the number for you.

alright thanks guys. I'm used to carb so I'm just kinda lost with this whole Eprom thing. so thats why I have all the dumb questions. but thanks for everybodys time.
