Buying equipment for first time

I am going to buy the equipment for burning proms. I just wanted to know if any one has any suggestions on what, and what not to get.

agrees... PP2 is the way to go. A moajority of the people use them on the board. It supports a wide variety of chips. But the best part is if you have a question relating to it you have a bunch of people on the board that use the same programmer. Good resource of information. Like it wasnt already one. I was looking at other burners when I was getting started and over all the xtronics one was the best price.

Thanks for the advice. I was thinking the pp2 would be the best choice.

Thanks again
