tuning the heavy weight

Ok, after moving and about six months of honeydos I finally got back to trying to get the TBI working on my camper.
I am using the 747 with a Holley 670 on a GM 330 hp create motor. this is stuffed in a 10,000 pound camper.
Not exactly third gen but still a lot of fun.

I tried several burns to grt the BLms close to 128 but don't seem to be getting much closer. Most run on the rich side.

1) How long must you drive the vehicle for it to "learn" the new settings?
2)I tried both ways, disconnecting and not disconnecting the power to see a differance but didn't notice any. Which is better?
3) There are several different EGR settings, I don't have EGR, Is the temp the only one that needs changed to turn it off?
4) There are several postings about this number being inverse, I believe both Tuner Cat and Win Bin have settings with direct readings, which way is proper to shut it off?

try a more drastic cut in fuel. or increasing the injcetor constant a bit.

Ok tried raising the BPW from 135 to 145 and that drove more areas into the 108 region. So I dropped to 125 and PRESTO!
Everything is between a low of 111 to a high of 135. Maybe I am getting somewhere.

Still wondering about the EGR

when in doubt change only the egr settings and goto the extreme in both directions. im not sure if its inverse or not. i dont play with the 747 a whole lot. as for fueling sounds good but is your O2 sensor any good ? with a surging blm like that i would suspect a vacum leak of sorts ? awyas good to hear your making progress. glad to help.

Thanx,
I don't know that it is surging, It's just trying to find a place to run. This is a new conversion from carb with probably too much cam for thw 10.000 pound weight its pushing.
I started with a Surbaban bin (ANLW). This one doesn't seem to have much timing, I need to add some advance once I get this fuel in line as it has no knock counts and is quite doggie compaired to the carb.

adding soem advance at idle might help the blm's smooth out and keep it runing a bit smoother. also locking out the IAC and manually setting the idle for base line tunning might prove to be a bit eaiser. good luck.

If your rich you want to decrease your base pulse width (bpw) not in increase it, as it is in usecs.

Things are looking up! The fuel map is getting close to 128s and I think I finally got rid of my stumble and belch whenever I gave a lot of gas peddle. I was raising the pump accel shots a little at a time and nothing was happening, I finally gave all the numbers on both arrays about 50% increase and it is wonderfull! no more belching when I floor it.
