AT29C256 support is here, has anyone verified that it works? I may get it because I cannot get the pocket programmer to work on my laptop. The pocket programmer is too picky, SPP parellel port, no power management. I can't swith to SPP or turn off power management. Anyone want to buy a pocket programmer?

Verified. Works fine with AT29C256. Haven't been able to get it to work with my AM29F040's yet, but 29C256 works fine with the Epromer-5.

Won't do 27SF512's though...

Well my Eprommer 5 just arrived... going to install the software onto my laptop and see how she goes... Flash proms here I come!!

Edit: Other than I can't figure out how to change the start address, this bugger is sweet! Hate to do it but I guess I am going to have to double up my bins to 32K, unless I get it to start at $4000.

They're going to add it, just how it will be incorporated I don't know. Now if they can get that 29F040 working...

I emailed Steve at ustr and doubling the bin up works fine. Thankfully the command prompt works to do this since I'm running 2KPro, booting to DOS and back just to double a bin would be a big PITA. lol cheers, Bob
