are there any new software for the epromer5 i just got my burner and i am trying to make it work in order to get it to program a am27256 eprom i have to continue to hit the reset and program buttons looks like it only programs about 1 bite per reset at this rate it will take me til christmas to program this chip i am 8using a 32k bin and my computer is an 833 hewlet packard i know that some i cs are a little hard to programe thanks Bob

 

i recieved epromer5 a couple of weeks ago and i had to download the software from their site. using winxp and no bugaboos so far other than haveing to stack the bin to work with the 29c256 chips.


just checked my epromer5 programe and i can not find a am27256 chip. maybe tihs is your problem?

 

they have and updated file on the epromer5 web site called epromer5n.exe that supports the 27256 ic but i programmed a 27c256 and didn't have any problems so i will use the 27c256 instead of the 27256 ic thanks for the response
