First logging

Hi, finally me & my son hook-up his laptop to my car via Craig moates 851 and 2 trans cable.
With car at 195*, closed loop, went for a 25 sec. logging. moderate throttle, max 45%. Blm/int mostly in the mid 140's the whole way through even though I have 19# ford inj's. MIN blm/int 136.
This short 25 sec cruise got me 14 knock counts, base timing is at 8*(I'll be changing that tomorrow), max advance I got was 38*, and it pulled 4.9* while it was knocking.
My biggest question would be why am I getting Blm/Int so high when I have bigger injectors in there?
Thanks for any replies at all I'm a total newbie at this!

Hey in case anyone reads this I thought I'd add...
I graphed everything in Excel and I found that the timing graph is almost the exact opposite of LV-8. Can anyone shed some light on this if they have time?:lala:
Thanks!

email me your BIN. your engine is lean or the O2 sensor is bad. being that lean all the time usually indicates a vacum leak behind the maf or a bad O2 sensor. if you dont mind my asking whats the grm/sec output form the maf at idle.?

Funstick,
Thanks for replying,
It's the stock BIN I haven't changed anything if that's what you mean, MAF at idle is between 6.5-6.7 g/sec, and it's a brand new O2 sensor- but I know it could still be bad anyway.

ok the maf idle reading looks ok. at this point i would say try bumping the fuel pressure by 1-2 psi and see what that gets you. also 19lb per hour inejctors are stock size for a 350. first what is the fuel pressure. ive heard varying things about how linear the ford fuel injectors flow so take anything you have heard with a grain of salt. with blms in the 140's id bet you have a lean miss fire. raise the fuel pressure abit and see if things stiraghten up. if so then maybe this will be a quick bandaid fix until you get int he the code and make changes.

good luck. ooh and set the base timing back to stock this might be the issue as well. 6d BTDC.
