FT Cell

What exactly is FT Cell and how is it determined? I logged some data today and noticed the FT Cell stayed on 4 the whole time. Is this supposed to change? Also, is Startup Enrichment Vs. Coolant Temp used until engine reaches closed loop? I am having a very rich problem on the mornings it is 30F or 40F degrees outside.

It is speed density 730 ECM TPI in my jeep. I am using a snap-on MT2500 scanner.

well then you should have the BLM and INT. the FT is most likely just a rich/lean counter.

when I first started it up the BLM and INT stayed at 128 and it runs like crap. Really sounds like it is loading up. What do I adjust for cold start mornings. I am not worried about the FT cell if it is not important I just wondered what it was for.

When you first fire up you are in open loop and the BLM/INT will be at 128/128 till it goes into closed loop.

FT Cell is "fuel trim cell". I have heard it is normal for it to stay "4" all the time.

isn't the (percent change to air/fuel ratio in open loop) at idle only? It will idle fine upon startup but with a small amount of acceleration it loads up and stumbles and you have to floor it to clean it out. Once it warms up a little it has no problems at all.
