91 questions...

Can someone post what a 91 memcal looks like. My buddy just pulled his and it has some crazy lookin device attached to it. Just wondering it they *appear* different that the stock 89 memcals or if someone made something was using it for this car. Thanks.

If you are talking about the thin film circuit that rises over the NETRES, it takes place of the Electronic Spark Control module. Don't have a picture though.

So is this a common item. It kinda bridges up over the 2 smaller chips adjacent to the regular chip.

Can someone post a picture for me to make sure. I do not have a digi cam or I would just do it. Thanks guys. And thanks High_hopes.

Not the best pic, but I had it on hand. The ECM is a 749, and the memcal is a 91 TPI 730. They use the same type memcal. A 165 ECM uses a seperate firewall mounted ESC, the 730/749 family moved it into the memcal. HTH, Bob
