How much can you actually change?

I want to get into burning my own chips because I am doin a 383 with the stealth ram. Now my question is how much can you actually change when you burn your own chips. Can you change fan temps, and individual cylinder timing and fuel or is it just timing and fuel for all of them? Oh yeah can you also bur it for no EGR? Thanks for any info

I have a 1991 Z-28. My mistake I don't think you can change individual cylinder timing but can you change individual cylinder fuel curve in case one is running leaner than another? What i'm really wanting to know is can burning your own chips be as versatile as getting one of those fuel management systems? Thanks.

Do you have 8 WBs to monitor the changes to see if your actually doing anything good?.

The aftermarket ones, are designed to be simple enough for the Average Guy to be able to use, the oem ones are much better for what you can change that means something.

You also need to install a cam posistion sensor to get individual timing and fuel trims.

You can spend your money on ways to go faster then what going with an aftermarket will cast you. Unless you have to run P+H injectors, or some such thing.
