Tuner Cat tables info

Could anyone steer me in the right direction to better understand all of the tables in the tunercat program. At best there is just a short blerb about a switch or a constant but that is it. I would like to better understand these items along with the many other tables in the $8d tdf.

Those of you who are really knowledgable about this stuff, where did you lean?

I cut and paste as many relevant thread info however, I was hoping there was a more consolidated sorce.

look for an article here called tunning 101. it should shed some light as well as the stuff at the gm ecm list called tunning tips. s/d systems are mostly the same. however some of the code to code variation require a bit more tact to navigate. also just for giggles read over the turbo p4 document. at the diy-efi.org incoming ftp area. its sort of a good breakdown of gm terminology and FS strategy.

if you have a specific question please phrase.

VE vs RPM vs KPA what does it do ?

this will help us better understand your questions and provide more insiteful and usefull infromation.

peace out.
