Computer controlled carbs

I have the intro article in my hands, it says its for fuel injection. Can someone tell me if this info applies to LG4 computer controlled carb cars? If not what is different. Please be patient i am completely new to prom burning!

A prom is a prom, more or less.

Trouble is there are no documents explaining the locations for a CCC ecm. The best CCC prom that I know of is in the ZZZ retrofit kit. In the instruction sheet it gives the part no..

With that prom, then you'll just need to rework the secondaries, try Doug Roes Quadra Jet book for answers on that.

my problem is that right now i'm running my old hypertech chip. it seem sto have way too much advance in it. i need to run more static timing to get the car to idle well, but when i do i get over 42 degrees at full advance. it may be ok at that advance but i'm reluctant to run it like that. Everything i read says 34-38 degrees total advance. I have a lot invested in my motor and i am afraid to run soo much timing. The other reason was that i would lik to be able to improve idle quality and maybe fuel mileage. i know if i advance the timing i may improve both but like i said i'm afraid to go past 38 degrees. My car is an 84 with the LG4 computer with NO knock sensor. I understand i can upgrade to the 87 with a knock sensor but i do not know what wiring changes are neccessary for that to work.

The problem is the Hyperhick prom.

Yes, you'd have to add the K/S module, and some wiring, maybe a look at a shop manual would answer your guestions about what exactly you have to add.

Like I said get the instruction sheet for the ZZZ retrofit.
