Tuning for a blower with a custom cam?

I'm burning my own proms, finally, and have a few quest. I'm going to install a 9 psi blower this winter how do I adjust my timing to make it all work. In the install manual it say that I should replace any chip back to the stock one to prevent detonations due to agressive timing. So I'll just copy the stock curve into my homemade PROM and it would be ok IF I had a stock engine.......

BUT I have 10:3 in comp and a custom cam ( 211/225 483/520
113 sep.) + se sign. How will this affect my timing?

Can I run a more agressive timing with this cam than with stock without risking detonation?

I also have a MSD 6BTM to retard the timing if necissary.........

/N.

Well there is no need for the timing retard box if you are doing your own proms.
Just give the car what it wants ,experiment but not to aggressivly
with the blower ,I would start by making you timing no higher than 30 degrees total to start from peak torque and beyond
then add little at a time to see if the car responds ,actually you will probably want to add more around peak torque because blower pressure should not be at peak yet but the higher RPM's keep it consevative on the higher load and RPM areas.
