can someone help me out here, every time I open up the PP2 software it says it can't find the device.... I have the newest version of the software, and the NTPORT file that craig put up in a previous post. I tried the trick to unplug and the plug it back in with no luck. Is there something else I need to do? someone mentioned something about the add hardware utility, but where is it and how does it work??

 

run the ntport file leave it running the open pp2 software.as long as that file is running it should in thoery free the lpt1 fromthe xp control.

 

all I got was a system extension type file.... is there an actual program? know where I can get it?

 

i emailed the folks that i got it from. i lost it in the last hdd reformat so youll have to wait and see.

thank you for the program. but not not to sound like a moron, but how do I use it... what do I have to put into the two cells?? are those port addresses I need to find? or is it something else? shoulda just bought a 98 laptop
