'165' ECM?
What size injectors?
What cylinder heads?
What intake manifold setup?
Are those BLM results with the stock chip?

Quiz: Knowing that your BLM's are below 128, what is the computer doing; adding or removing fuel?

Headers glow because the mixture is still burning on the way out either because the timing is too retarded or way too much unburned fuel. They also glow because of extreme exhaust temperatures mostly caused by vacuum leaks (lean AFR's) at those RPM's.

If it's a custom burned Ed Wright prom then I would contact him and tell him what's going on. I believe he will work with people to try to get a good match.

BLM should ideally be 128. at 128, the ecm is not adding nor removing fuel meaning the calibration is correct at that individual point.
