When using the moates adapter do I need to whack the original chip off the memcal before I nstall it on the adapter or can i stick the whole thing on as a unit? The reason i ask is that the last set of pins on the stock chip appear to connect to the last 2 adapter pins -plus on moates site he has a pic of both a hacked up memcal on an adapter and a whole memcal on an adapter.

 

Looks are deceiving. Don't cut your chip in half. Just plug it together and go.
