Can't get my EPROM to erase! help?

Hey guys, tomorrow I am supposed to fire up my car for the first time after this new round of mods. HSR, 24# injectors, the whole 9 yards.

Well I have already edited a new .bin for the injectors and a few of the other little things but I can't seem to get my chip to erase.

I'm leaving it on the eraser for about 15 minutes at a time. And if it doesn't erase I put it back on for roughly 10 minutes.

This chip has only been erased maybe 5 times. I thought that they'd last longer than this.

Any words of advice?

Read, understood, tried it, but its still not working. This morning I tried a 30 minute cycle and it still won't erase. I have another memcal with eprom in the car right now but I don't want to take that one out and have the same thing happen and not be able to reburn a file on it. Then I'd be SOL.......

Maybe I can just turn down the fuel pressure so that the 24# injectors will not be running too rich...

Should I just give up on this EPROM and buy a few new ones?

Get a new one. Mine erased, but couldn't be programmed completely. It was erased and double erased multiple times. Guess it's just too old..
