? about injector sizing w/ a charger and custom proms.
Hi guys, heres the story: Just got the p600B procharger put on the car and I was hoping that the FMU would solve the fuel issue by raising the pressure and therefore the flow of the injectors when in boost. However the FMU or the fuel supply is not up to snuff, I had the fuel pressure set to:
19" ----- 45psi cruising
14" ----- 50psi idle
0 ----- 60psi part throttle
5# ----- 60psi wot 5000RPM
As you can see no increase in pressure with boost. So I started thinking of just taking the FMU out (since it doesnt seem to be doing anything) and try to tune this thing for higher pressure. The way I figure The combo should only put out around 400 at the wheels(had it dynoed before and it was at 305 so with 5# of boost 5/14.7= .34, so 1.34 * 305 = 408)
So the main ? can SVO 24# injectors feed this thing with more pressure? Thoughts and opinions welcome.
