Few easy Q's

I just started using my PP2 and tunercat today so bear with me #1) Is the ARAP bin from diy-efi known to be a good (stock) bin?
#2) I found the AUJM bin at diy-efi and was going to download it but it is titled AUJMV is this just the stock AUJM bin which someone added a v to the title?
#3) I got a prom from someone on the boards and got ripped off. Now that i have the equipment to read it tunercat says I need the $FF def. file. This is not on tunercats list. Anyone have any info.
I am finally getting started
Thanks for any help. -John

If it's one of my old bins, the V is for virgin.

Look at location 0008 and see what is says. I should be 8D. If not then change it to 8D and see if you can read it.

Yep, you're far better off to do your own. At least you know what you have.

Thanks grumpy. I am unable to modify any of the bins I get with my pocket programmer. I tried to save and read my stock APYU bin and it said i needed a def file that does not exist. Then i tried to read off of the AT29c256 that i got off of the boards and the same deal. If i download a bin i can modify it fine with tunercat. Then i tried to take one of the bins i downloaded, and put it on the AT29c256 which seemed to work but when i saved to hard drive and tried to modify it TC said i needed the $6e file which I was using. I am pretty confused so thanks for any help.
