More MAP misc
There's been a rash of people running into this lately, so I figure, I'd mention it.
When it comes time to route a vac line to the MAP sensor, AND fuel pressure regulator, be sure to just use rubber hose the actual couplings.
Run copper, brass, or AL tubing for all the long runs, ie anything over 2-3".
You also want to mount the MAP as close to the vac port as possible.
The rubber hoses, can actually accordian, and dampen the vac signal, and in some applications to make a signifigant change in the AE needed. So as a min use the hard plastic oem stuff, or better yet the metal ones.
And if your running 1.6, or faster 60' times, you can't pay too much attention to the MAP mount.
