Hello Read the Trax article, now even more fired up to learn this, so, here is ?'s. This article leans towards 85-92 F- body, all GM's
are the best, BTW, Butt, I have a 92 PU, 350 TBI, will all this equip. mentioned work on it? Programs, pocket programmer,etc?
Will, in future, upgrade to Vortec, already have motor, just letting it go as far as possible. Cudos fot this site. Thanks Don

Yes, the pocket programmer and the software that's out there will support you truck. You should have a 1227747 or 16146299 ECM and I'm pretty there is stuff out there for the 6299 (there's ton's of stuff for the 7747!!)

Now, when you switch to the Vortec, do you plan to use the factory vortec fuel injection setup (computer, wiring, intake, etc.....)? If so, the stuff you have will not work for it, but there is stuff out there for it. I'm going to be getting into the stuff for the vortec myself when I get my S-10 V8 conversion started. www.carputing.com has what is needed for the newer trucks. It's the same as the stuff for the LS1's from what I can tell!
