diy-efi.org news . . .

I don't know if everyone else noticed.

but diy-efi.org is back up. this is their splash page i saw this morning....

--------------------------------

Welcome to the EFI-332, DIY-EFI, and gmecm WWW pages.
You may have noticed that the WWW page and lists have been down for a month or so. The short story is that there was some kind of failure that managed to corrupt the hard drive. The server uses a dual drive RAID system for redundancy but something obviously went wrong.

There have been plenty of offers of server space, money, parts, and everything else, and for that I offer a big thank you! The server has been restored to it's condition as of January 2003, but the lists themselves may not be turned on for a while.

In the meantime I'm seeking help to rebuild the missing content. This is mostly the archives for 2003. Also probably some of the obd2 stuff that I recently added. There may also be files missing from the ftp site. Don't start sending me stuff just yet, I don't want to be flooded! But if you can help with:

you have significant amounts of the WWW page archived somewhere, or
you have time to sift through the internet looking for stuff
you can host or mirror the WWW page and listserv <== especially this!
then please get back to me at steve.ravet@arm.com
Thanks for your patience,

--steve

Well, it took a little while, but 2282 files and 591.6 MB later, I now have the entire diy-efi ftp site downloaded and burned on a CD.
