Tunercat probs??

Hello,
I just downloaded tunercat to have a look at it and I'm having trouble getting it to work..
First of all, when i start it up, it asks for a password, I just press enter???
Now i click on the 'open folder' icon at the top left and select my bin file (i have a few for the $42 (7747) ecm) and every time I get and error window saying 'Unable to open ECM file'...
The bins i am using have been created and manipulated with both winbin and gmecmedit with no probs before..
Anyone know whats wrong??
I want to have a look at it before my 30 day trial is ended!!
Thanks,
Ben.

Passowrd?, that's a new one.

But you have to click on ecm and select an ecm mask first, then open a .bin file.
Be sure to have the 42.tdf in the TC folder.

Thanks Grumpy,
hmmm, 'ECM' in the menu bar is not selectable....
It looks as though it has loaded the $42.ecm by default as the window title bar up top says 'C.A.T.S. Engine Tuner ECM: ECM_42'
This is v2.
The password request 'Enter File Password' pops up just after I acknowledge the 'Evaluation software version' page....
I jst press enter and it says 'wrong password', but appears to continue anyway..????

The reason it asks for a password is because the date of the ECM_42.tdf file isnt the same as what TunerCat has in its database. It asking for a password is its error. Contact TunerCat for more info. He's really helpful.
