being as i have a non stock application im using my ECM for and i have so much manifold reversion from the turbo and header i didnt need egr. so my question is does anybody think its feasable to use the exisitng EGR code in the 727 and its output to drive a PWM seleniod between the pump and the nozzle. anybody ever attempted anything like this ?

 

I understand what your saying.. partly you want to use exisiting code, and the output to the wires to control another deice.. in theory it sounds doabe.. unfortunetaly PWM means nothing to me, what kind of device is it?

 

its a digital egr seleniod. im digging for info on it now actually. i might be able to use something similar to a nos seleniod.

 

That would be an excellent idea making the code meet certain criteria to open up your nos..
another application could be possibly using it to start/stop water injection under boost.
