Tuning the pump shot (understanding Acceleration Enrichment Factor vs. Change LV8)
I want to try to change the Acceleration Enrichment Factor vs. Change LV8 table in my APYP bin to help with a very, very bad WOT bog that I have. 350 TPI, 214/224 .442/.465 112lsa flat tappet 10:1 compression, 461 heads, blah blah blah. The car has run a best of 14.3 in hot weather, but has an absolutely horrendous throttle response. Every time I shift (5 speed) it is absolutely gutless in the next gear. My 305 GTA throws me into the seat when I shift, and my 91 Vette throws me HARD into the seat when I shift. There's no reason why my IROC should be so gutless after shifts. I also smell gas at WOT, and I think it's all related.
Anyway... I want to lean out my pump shot, but I'm really not understanding the Acceleration Enrichment Factor vs. Change LV8 table too well. What exactly are the LV8 counts, and how do the 5 fields in the table effect the car? I want to understand what I need to be changing in order to lean out my pump shot. Thanks.

If I understand you correctly,
The 5 fields are for the increments of how much change there is in LV8. ie larger changes getting more AE then smaller ones.
Easiest thing to do is make a small change and then go out and drive the car. Make changes just in one area, at a time, and get familiar with what each area's changes feel like. Yep, takes time, and experimenting to get the feel down in some of this.
