Datalogs anyone?

a few weeks ago I set up the datalogger side of my wideband.. atleast with just a couple inputs working and decided to go for a spin and see what it looks like with the carburetor on there and the 7747 ecm running the spark. Just wanted to impress upon everyone how much easier it is to tune FI and maybe (remains to be seen on my car, damned injectors!) how efi can do better than a carb in a dynamic environment

this is an edelbrock 1405 600 cfm carb, no choke, no choke linkage, with a .035 pump shot shooter and pump linkage rod in the top arm hole (ive since swapped back to the .028 and drilled another hole even higher on the arm.. seems to have helped SOME but not a whole lot, lighter air valve marked with a 028 if i recall the stock one is marked 048) Just a little wot blast in second and third gear, 3.42 gears and a T5

The map was set up for a two bar map sensor so its basically reading double of actual.
time afr rpm map disregard the last one

the car went 13.77@102.48 like this and even did 102.97 in the quarter and its only a little 305 pushing 3.42 gears. I cant wait to get the TBI running on there i oughta be able to tune out all that nonsense happening in the midrange with a few keystrokes. Carbs might be easier to set up and run well out of the box but once you get to a certain point with them you better be ready to have them off for measurements, mods, and design changes only to probably have to take it off again and try again

You dont even want to see my part throttle data logs, can you say gas guzzler?

Im going to have to order up the carter strip kit for it and bust out the drill and grinder once i get the TBI back on there so i have some transportation and so that I can have a legitimate comparison

Its just so much easier with FI, coulda had this looking great allready
