302 Ecu?

Anyone have/know where to find the .ECU file for a 302 ecm?

I've got some 302 bins, but no ecu so that I can adjust anything.... anyone? For the $3a mask, btw...

I would tend to believe that you are the first to request an ECU for this application. I know that TunerCAT did the TDF's for the $88 & $A1 masks. These are the SD V6's that run in the 90-92 f-body's and some years of Corsica/Beretta's ('730 ECM).

I checked to see what I have and came up empty.

I do have some bins though. Is there any tables in particular that you are interested in?

I would seriously look into upgrading the ECM to a '165 (MAP) or '730/'749 (SD). A couple of reasons, the '165 is well supported, scan tools are available, high speed ALDL at 8192 is available, editors are available, hac's are available, it is also used in the majority of the TPI MAF cars.

The '730 is also well supported ($8D). Again, editors, high speed ALDL, scan tools, hac's, everything is available. There is also the $8F mask & hac around that was used in the 3.1l turbo GranPrix's. Not as well known as the $8D, but it does support boost as is.

Let me back up on the '730, you'll need to run the $8F mask for boost, I don't think a free scan tool is available for it, but Moates should be able to handle it with a few changes. An editor ECU file may not be available for it either, but there is a hac available. With that an ECU file can be made.

Can also consider the '749 version of the '730 that is used in the turbo Sunbird's & sy/ty's. Mask $58, again, well supported. Can also run this mask in a '730 when running saturated injectors.

On the other hand if you stay with the '302, there isn't any real support, no editors, no hac's, slow ALDL makes tuning a pain. It is a C3 with most of the code in on-board ROM. So code changes are difficult.

The two easiest (best?) options are the '165 running $6E or the '730/'749 running $58 code.

I had the 302 tdf but I destroyed it. She was a beta version. Planned on doing some test for TC (bout a year ago). Things didn't pan out so I never used it. Tunercat might have a 302 beta still.....
