Can you forsure use a 730 as a 749??

Bob aka Saturn 5 said it was possible..

has anyoen else tried it? I"m about to buy one

Not aways. Depends upon usage. The '730 is short one injector driver over the '749. So if you wish to use 4 PnH's (port) then no. If you wish to use saturated injectors, then yes.

cant remeber.. saturated injectors are just your plain jane high impedence injector right?

Your saying as long as i don't run the low impedence i'll be fine

sat = high z
peak and holds = low z

TPI's are sat style, and a 730 will run those with $58 just fine.

sweet.. hate to question you.. i just wanted to make sure before i bought a 730 i would otherwize have no use for.

Now... do you think a 749 will run with a MSD tach signal? square 12v wave.
