ppII ?

has anyone had problems with the printer port on the laptop not wanting to read the ppII my pc works perfectly but my laptop says it can't find ppII. any ideas

mine did the same thing, it was the power supply for the ppII. i called them up at xtronics and they sent out a new one the next day. fixed.

the problem is that is works perfectly with my home computer just not with the laptop. so i don't believe the power supply has anything to do with it. I will shoot xtronics an email and see what they have to say

I had a problem with mine . The desktop worked great with pp2
but when I hooked the pp2 up to my laptop it would see the pp2 only sometimes . I built a dedicated desktop for the pp2, problem solved.
I suspect that the problem is with the printer port configurations on the laptop.
Please post any info that you gather on this subject,I would like to use the ole laptop, it saves space on the desk.
