Setting LS1 injectors to new prom

Do I just set the constant to 25lbs? They are noted as 25# injectors but some say they flow like 28# Is it 28# at 58PSI and 25# at 42 PSI?

Also my girlfriend just picked up a bonestock 89 L98 and it came with Accel 24# injectors. To redo this would i just burn the 89 chip but change the constant and thats it? Thanks

yeah pretty much.....

LS1 injectors 28.5# @ 4 bar (58 psi) and 24.6# @ 3 bar (43.5 psi)

just change the injector constants and your set.

not a big difference. many people just use the 25# constant setting.

I set my LS-1 injectors to a constant of 23.1 or 23.2 at 45PSI. I also had to adjust the injector offsets a bit to allow them to stay open a little longer than the stock 22lb injectors. I just thouht that the newer injector would need less time to open but in my case they needed to be open a bit longer to get a proper tune.

First of all, you need to know what fuel pressure you are running now in your 3rd gen car.

Second, you need to know which LS1 injectors you bought. The year makes a significant difference. '98 '01 and '02 LS1 injectors flow 28.4#/hr @ 58psi. The '99 and '00 injectors flow 26.5#/hr at 58psi.

If you have the 28.4#/hr LS1 injectors and you are running 43.5psi, then the correct fuel injector constant for you is 24.6#/hr...
