computer hack in that other brand of truck
computer hack in that other brand of truck
I know I still haven't got my 73 vette completely going yet, but I couldn't resist the urge to go out and buy myself a 2000 powerstroke F350 crew cab pickup truck. This beast is a lot of fun, and with the aftermarket chip that came in it, it will propel its entire 7500 pounds from 0-60 in around 8.3 seconds, and looks like it will do a quater (according to my G-Tech competition) in about 15 seconds at 90 MPH. Not bad for a giant brick.
My question is, does anyone know if the computer on these has been hacked like the GM ones? You can buy tuners for them that plug in and let you select different power levels, etc., so it seems like it should be pretty easy to build my own tuner.
Any information or links greatly appreciated.

I haven't seen anything for the powerjoke (LOL) yet, in fact, the only thing that's OBD2 that I've seen is the LT1/LS1 edit stuff.
I'll do some diggin though, I am curious about this.
Those are pretty decent trucks, even though they are "Foreign"

If you want HP with a Diesel, investigate Propane, IMO.
