Anyone have a hac for a 2002 Tahoe, 4.0L? A friend of mine needs it.

I've yet to see any OBDII stuff laying around.

Not good. He really wanted to do some tuning on the Tahoe. I was going to help him set up something like WinALDL and TunerPro to work on it a little.

Is the 4.0L a derivative of the LS1?

I wonder if LS1edit would work for it. That's what the '98-02 F-body guys use.

I believe www.carputing.com is the website, and I hope you've got some money. Last I heard it was around $550.

That's for the unlimited setup. AKA if you were a tuning shop.

You can get a PCM locked version for $550 and add a carm up to three, for $150 each.

Sometimes we forget what we have until we look at what others have to work with.

I couldn't agree with you more!
I just looked at the VCM Suite too...even at that price, it's still pretty steep...and limited to one cable. I guess they are protecting their investment and intellectual property with some kind of hardware encryption.
Why couldn't the DIY crowd come up with something that will work as well or better? Look at the AutoProm and Prominator...can't forget about TunerPro and TunerCat....WinALDL too. I'm not much of a programmer, but I'd help where I can in an effort like that.
