I have a question for epromer 5 users- Is anyone able to program a 29F040 chip??

I can read them, and blank check them but not program them at all. I have no probs with programming 27C256's, its just the 29F040's that are giving me trouble. I have tried three different 29F040's, all brand new from Craig Moates (thanks to Craig for helping me out!).

Yeah I have, and the crew at USTR is finally starting to help me out. They think they found the problem- and told me to solder in a capacitor as well as sent me two new beta software versions 6af and 6ag to try. The standard version 6 doesnt support flash units.. Neither of the new software they sent is available on their site yet. I am MUCH happier knowing they are trying to fix this for me.

 

For anyone interested- The problem is solved! The USTR.net folks came through. I had to solder in an extra .0047 uf capacitor and they sent me even MORE new software that isnt yet available - but They did help and it works great!
