va454,

I would like to swap as well. Not sure if the prominator will work with the 7060 though. How is tuning going with your setup?

Its kinda funky. You need to click in the dark portion at the top. I was unsuccessful on my first attempt. Play with it a little.

I can't get to it either...
If anyone can see it, would you mind right-clicking it and 'save as', then post it here for all to see??

https://www.thirdgen.org/techbb2/sho...hreadid=190424

On page 2, it says it is compatible with the 7060.

I haven't found a pinout for the 7060 on the net.
If others still haven't I'll type it up, later on today, if needed.

Here is a list of vehicles wiring diagrams I found at the site va454ss posted above.

LB4 = 4.3L (262) TBI V-6
L05 = 5.7L (350) TBI V-8
L19 = 7.4L (454) TBI V-8

90RVwiring.bmp 90 R/V series LB4 L05 L19 Manual, 700R4, TH400
Shows 700R4 in more detail

91ck_4l80e.bmp 91 C/K series LB4 L05 L19 with 4L80E
91CK_wo_4L80E.bmp 91 C/K series LB4 L05 L19 without 4L80E (700R4 and manual)

92CK_4L80E.BMP 92 C/K series LB4 L05 L19 with 4L80E
92CK_wo_4L80E.BMP 92 C/K series LB4 L05 L19 without 4L80E (700R4 and manual)

95CK_454Wiring_MT_(x).BMP 95 C/K series L19 (454) with manual transmission
95CK_Wiring_4L60E_(x).BMP 95 C/K series LB4 L05 with 4L60E trans
95CK_Wiring_4L80E_(x).BMP 95 C/K series LB4 L05 L19 with 4L80E trans
95CK_Wiring_MT_(x).BMP 95 C/K series L05 with manual trans

Does the C/K series truck with the 4L60E/4L80E use the '7060 PCM?

RBob.

Let's see if this works.

I scanned it and it's large. Also have drawings with and without 4L80E. This was used it many years it seems.

Well, could be, I'm just guessing what vehicle this is for.

With the 4l80e it has one 24pin connector and one 32pin connector, according to the diagrams I'm looking at. But, so does the diagram I have without the 4l80e. There's also a TCM listed for transmission control for a diesel.

It would help a bunch if I knew exactly what it was used in but basically I found the ...7030 listed for 90-95 Chevy trucks in the PROM data reference.

I'd be glad to look it up and post it if I had more information.

OK, the file 95CK_Wiring_4L60E_1.BMP has two 32 pin connectors.

The file 92CK_4L80E.BMP has a 24 pin connector and a 32 pin connector.

RBob.

The 7060 was used in 91-92-93.
Auto Applications only.
But, there are several other options for pcms/ecms, mixed in there.

The way I found mine was at www.Car-Part.com. You can find some with a very reasonable price; I paid ~$50 to my door.

Do a search for a 91 with 454 and auto.

As mentioned, several other apps use them, but it was always used with the 480LE, regardless of engine size.

When I converted from the 8747, I had to modify the connectors slightly by removing a couple of the alignment tabs.
