Help with AE and PE

How would I know where to go and what to touch with my setup?

I am asking the collective wisdom of board, and their experience on what to try.

As I am getting close to my VEs, the engine stumbles BAD whether I blip the throttle from an idle or when I am driving.

I have not noticed this to be a problem above ~2000 rpms.

The problem, I think, I need a bigger or sooner/quicker pump shot because I am getting TOO much air (high KPA) with my four barrel TBI.

My PEs are set at 50% - 70% throttle. It's pretty rare when I go beyond 50% even with a blip of the throttle (out of gear). Usually a blip will only yield 30% thorttle.

Where are the AE fuels?

Maybe I will go and look at the commented Super_8dm1.ecu??!!

Thanks for the reply.

I had already read this, but because I am running a TBI instead of a TPI, I am wondering which table to test with first. Hence, I thought the wisdom of the more experienced might chime in with a specific table as it applies to my computer controlled 4 barrel -carb.

I didn't want to go through each one, even though I probably will anyway, and see what works for me. Maybe I am in too much of a hurry to get it mostly together this weekend.

My bad lol

Try searching for A/E and Acceleration Enrichment and keep a look out for tbi related posts

It has been discussed in quite a bit of detail for the TPI(MAF and SD) and the TBI and even for the 6 cyl f bodies..

What mask are you running in the '7730?

Heh,

After the discussion on the Super_8D. I will be using that one with my correct Volumes, and change my VE. I think I can finish off the volume, and VEs tonight.

Then maybe tonight, or more likely tomorrow morning I will pursue my AEs, and PEs.

That's why I was asking today.

Thanks to any and all for the help.

OK, just wanted to be sure. The $8D mask is originally intended for a dry flow port injected application. Using it on a wet flow TBI application will require a lot more AE, a lot.

The thread pointed out above is how the $8D AE tables operate. That is the area you'll need to work on.

RBob.

Sweet!

I found my [b]AE to temp [b] was the same as the AXCN bin => 80 C. It was at .07. I changed this all to .10. Primarily because I noticed my AEs at lower temps (50) the engine responded well with a blip.

It's closer, but not there yet.

Also now with the Super_8Dmv1 it is WAY too rich. I think because the Cylinder volume is being reflected correctly!

YAAAHHHH!!!! :lala:

Time to redo the VE tables.... again.

It's getting there!
