Timing Table..

Anyone see any issues with this, or concerns? Seems to keep me outta knock, but its really low.

75 and 80 kpa areas look outta whack with the timing rising from cruise to part load/acceleration conditions...

May cause u issues with tip in knock , u r boosting this setup correct?

the WOT stuff still looks a little high, but then again I'm not there to see it...

Always ere on the low side and work higher....

U may be able to bring your cruise area timing up some and ramp it out a little more quickly and smooth out the aforemnetioned areas some...

Later

Hrmm. I figured teh ramp up in timing would help accel.

Yep. 12psi at anything over say 5k

Yeah, 20d is the highest I seem to be able to run without knock. I used to get away with 27d with the a-trim (8ish psi).

Thanks!

Nope, just the opposite, it's gonna increase the tendency to have tip-in pre-ignition, and the knock sensor is pretty much blind to that.

20 is about all you'll want to run in boost.

The idea is running the least amount of timing consistant with max performance.

For a boosted engine you want to keep the chamber temps down more then in a N/A application, so running a low timing set is best.
